Expeditionary fuel infrastructure
When a mission moves beyond permanent infrastructure, World Fuel can establish fuel supply and distribution where it is needed. Beach storage systems and forward aviation refuelling points support initial operations.
Emergency response and disaster relief
When demand changes rapidly, the response must scale just as quickly. During Hurricane Idalia in 2023, World Fuel deployed more than 600 assets and increased active assets from 50 to more than 180 in under 12 hours. Approximately 2.2 million gallons of fuel were delivered, including through mobile fuel stations for civilian vehicles.

Official government and military aviation missions cannot afford disconnected planning and execution. Across more than 4,000 airports, fuel supply and ground operations can be coordinated with 24/7 global dispatch, flight planning, scheduling, and trip support.

Modernizing deployable fuel support for the Australian Defence Force
The Australian Defene Force selected World Fuel to replace, modernize, and support its deployable bulk fuel storage and distribution capability.
The project combines deployable storage with the pumping and pipeline systems required to move fuel. Safety systems, performance monitoring, and quality-control equipment support operation of the capability. Fuel can move into and throughout an area of operations, including by ship-to-shore pipeline transfer, to strengthen operational reach and endurance.
