Fuel supply, logistics & services FAQs

World Fuel supports aviation, ground, and marine fuel requirements for government and defense customers. Referenced products include aviation turbine and military jet fuel grades (F-34,JP-8,F-24,JP-5, F44); ground fuels such as diesel (F-54), gasoline (F-67), and kerosene; marine gas oil (F76); DMB; and selected renewable or lower-carbon fuel options. Available fuel types and grades depend on location, specifications, equipment, supply conditions, and contract requirements.

Yes. Our experience includes remote, austere, infrastructure-limited, and complex environments. Each location is assessed for security and infrastructure limitations, along with the regulatory and supply conditions that determine what can be executed. Support is then shaped around what is practical at that location.

Yes. We support routine requirements and can scale for deployments, exercises, or contingency responses. This experience also extends to emergency and humanitarian operations. The delivery model depends on required scale and lead time, as well as the fuel and infrastructure available at the location.

Yes. Expeditionary capabilities include deployable storage tanks, pumps, hoses, pipelines, filtration systems, fuel safety systems, fuel additization equipment, environmental controls, performance monitoring, and quality-control equipment. Configurations can range from forward refueling points to larger bulk-fuel installations and ship-to-shore systems.

Quality support reflects the applicable fuel specification, contract, location, and delivery method. Depending on the requirement, controls can address fuel origin and traceability, testing, equipment calibration, and quality management planning.

Start with the operating location, required fuel, expected volume, and delivery window. Include the mission duration and applicable specifications, along with any known infrastructure, access, storage, or dispensing constraints. A Government Solutions specialist can then evaluate the appropriate support model.
